Job position: Risk & Safety Engineer
Job Location: Abu Dhabi
Years of Experience: 5-8 yrs of proven experience in preparing complex technical safety studies for Oil and Gas projects (Onshore & Offshore)
Qualification: Bachelor or Masters in Chemical Engineering / Process Safety or equivalent
Skills: Strong Interpersonal Skills with good verbal & written communication in English
Project Management: Capable to handle, lead/manage and execute Onshore and Offshore QRA and Safety Studies independently
Software Skills: Must have proven hand on experience in the following software, as a minimum:
PHAST/SAFETI
Bow-tie XP or THESIS
FLARESIM
Job Description
Involved in managing and executing technical studies for various projects within the field of competencies as detailed below:
Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA)
Consequence Modeling/ Fire Risk Assessment Studies (FERA)
Building Risk Assessment (BRA)
Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA)
Flare Radiation & Dispersion Analysis
ALARP Study
COMAH/Safety Case Studies
PHA/ Bow-tie Analysis (would be a valuable plus)
3D F&G Mapping Studies (would be a valuable plus)
Dropped Object Studies (would be a valuable plus)
Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis (ESSA) (would be a valuable plus)
Manage and execute complex technical safety studies for onshore and offshore oil and gas projects. Responsibilities include performing QRAs, FERA, EERA, and flare radiation analysis to ensure project safety.
