has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for
discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai
International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites,
22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently
under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the
Arabian Gulf.
About the Position:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Lead – Audio & Resort AV to join
the resort’s AV and Entertainment Technical Services team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
* Oversee the maintains, setup, finetuning and adjustment of all equipment
audiovisual plant, equipment, hardware, communication networks and
communication/controls infrastructure.
* Set-up and manages prevention maintenance program for all audiovisual base
build and mobile plant and equipment
* Plan the operation and maintenance requirements of AV activities based on
departments’ requests
* Oversee the execution of the resort’s sound and video technical support
requirements
* Evaluate AV requirements and manage the inventory of operating supplies and
equipment needs
* Maintain a suitable supply of spare parts
* Establishes metrics and procedures for embedding BGM and audio system
standards and sound quality benchmarks.
* Guestrooms and Villas AV GRMS audio visual performance and guest room
controls interface and integration.
* Equipment specification, commissioning, and tuning methodology
* Preventative maintenance strategy for audio systems
* Audio capability development and technical mentoring
* Overseas and manages outsourced event organizers and third-party vendors
* Develop, lead, and mentor AV technicians.
* Evaluate AV requirements and manage the inventory of operating supplies and
equipment needs and as required raise purchase requestions for spares and
operational supplies
* Develop, implement and monitor procedures, process and quality control
mechanisms for the AV Technical Department spares and materials inventory.
* Continually seeks means to improve health and safety standards
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience
and qualifications:
* Degree in Audio Engineering, Technical Theatre, Production Design, or related
field is a plus.
* Minimum 8–10 years of experience in AV technical services, with at least 5
years in a leadership role.
* Experience in luxury resorts or five-star entertainment venues is highly
desirable.
* Industry certifications in advanced audio systems and technologies preferred.
* Expert knowledge of AV networking and control systems (e.g., QLab, Crestron,
Dante, GRMS).
* Proficiency in lighting, laser, holography, animation, and control
programming tools (ETC, C++, PLC) is a plus.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Fluent in English; excellent interpersonal and coordination abilities in
multicultural environments
* Self-motivated, highly organized, and composed under pressure.
* Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
* Professional demeanor and commitment to delivering exceptional guest
experiences.
