We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic steel manufacturing team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment essential for our steel production operations. Responsibilities:
– Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and equipment used in steel manufacturing processes.
– Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of machinery.
– Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
– Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
– Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and regulatory standards while performing all mechanical tasks.
– Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status regularly.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in industrial or manufacturing settings, preferably in the steel industry.
– Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and industrial machinery relevant to steel manufacturing.
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
– Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting mechanical issues.
– Good physical stamina and ability to work in demanding environments.
– Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
– Qualifications such as a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant certification will be an advantage.
Salary:
AED 2,400 to 2,800 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
