Employment: Full Time
Looking to appoint a Senior MEP Design Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end design strategy of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our real estate developments. This is a senior-level, ideal for a technically strong professional who brings deep experience in concept design, technical coordination, and design management within high-end residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Lead and manage the MEP design process from concept development to IFC stage, ensuring alignment with the project’s design intent, sustainability goals, and commercial objectives.
• Work closely with internal development, design, and architecture teams to translate project briefs into efficient, integrated MEP design strategies.
• Oversee and coordinate external MEP consultants and specialist designers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all design packages.
• Participate in early-stage concept design and feasibility assessments, offering innovative solutions and technical direction based on project requirements and building typology.
• Review, comment on, and validate all MEP-related design submissions—including drawings, reports, calculations, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, international codes, and best industry practices.
• Lead internal and consultant design meetings, resolving coordination issues and ensuring cross-disciplinary alignment.
• Provide input during tendering and procurement stages, including evaluation of technical submittals and contractor design proposals.
• Identify design risks, value engineering opportunities, and buildability concerns early in the project lifecycle.
• Prepare regular design progress reports, technical presentations, and executive summaries for internal leadership.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree or relevant certifications
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in MEP design and management, including substantial concept design involvement and client-side or developer-side exposure.
