Responsibilities

We are pleased to announce a new opportunity for a talented Electrical Inspector to join our team in Dubai, UAE.
This position is associated with one of the most prestigious and high-profile projects currently underway in Dubai.
We envisage success in this role to include;
Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) and take appropriate action promptly in timely manner.
Assist the Electrical Engineer in performing the site related duties.
Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements.
Report any works not carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor the quality of works and assess site safety, including health and environmental aspects.
Maintain accurate daily site records, including progress photos, and ensure availability for inspection when required.
Prepare surveillance and non-conformance reports (NCRs) as necessary to document site deficiencies.
Ensure effective coordination between electrical works and other related disciplines.
Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections and ensure works are completed to the required quality standards.
Inspect and verify testing and commissioning of MEP equipment and systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate with the team to ensure successful project handover.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 7 years of work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

As this is a landscape project involving water bodies, pump rooms, and swimming pools, we are currently seeking candidates with relevant Dubai-based experience in these areas.

The Electrical Inspector is responsible for conducting site inspections, reviewing shop drawings for compliance, and monitoring work quality and safety. They must manage non-conformance reports, oversee MEP testing and commissioning, and coordinate with other disciplines for successful project handover.
