Responsibilities
Inspection: Inspect scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with design, load capacity, and offshore safety standards.
Certification: Approve scaffolds for use after verifying stability, anchorage, and safety measures.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure scaffolding erection and dismantling follow CISRS and project-specific procedures.
Documentation: Maintain inspection records, issue permits, and prepare reports for QA/QC teams.
Safety Enforcement: Enforce offshore HSE standards, PPE usage, and permit-to-work systems during scaffolding operations.
Team Coordination: Work closely with scaffolding foremen and supervisors to rectify deficiencies and ensure safe practices.
Requirements
Requirements
Diploma/Certificate in Construction/Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of offshore scaffolding inspection experience.
Strong knowledge of scaffolding design, load calculations, and offshore safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret scaffolding drawings and project specifications.
Familiarity with CISRS, ISO, and NOC standards.
Certifications & Training
CISRS-OSTS Scaffold Inspector Certification (Basic/Advanced)
BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)
Basic H2S Training
EPCIC Project HSES Induction
