Estimation Engineer – Fire Protection Systems (United Arab Emirates) Abu Dhabi

What Will You Do As an Estimation Engineer specializing in Fire Protection, you will play a crucial role in delivering budgetary proposals and preparing competitive bids that meet customer requirements during project planning and execution stages. How Will You Do It Support Consultants, PMCs, EPCs, and End Users by preparing budgetary proposals during the FEED stage. Manage and organize tender-related files, quotations, and associated documents. Conduct site surveys, attend bid-clarification meetings, and compile detailed reports. Review tender documents, seek clarifications, and ensure thorough understanding in collaboration with stakeholders. Engage with sub-vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies. Estimate costs for products, engineering, labor, and project management, collaborating with internal teams for accuracy. Prepare risk registers and allocate costs where necessary, ensuring stakeholder approvals are obtained. Submit structured proposals aligned with customer requirements and company policies. Participate in techno-commercial negotiations and ensure seamless project handovers to the operations team. Integrate accountability, safety, integrity, and trust by ensuring all processes adhere to Johnson Controls’ standards. What We Look For Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Fire Protection Systems. Technical Expertise: Knowledge of NFPA standards, local codes, ADNOC requirements, and Oil & Gas industry practices. Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite. Skills & Attributes: Strong negotiation, vendor management, and effective communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple tenders and collaborate with diverse teams.
