Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Geophysics or an equivalent field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in geophysical survey works within related industries is required.
Job Summary
* Liaise with laboratory regarding sample collection and analysis Execute
independently geophysical survey interpretation
* Ensure accuracy and objectivity and report to the Survey Manager on the
survey results
* Process and interpret Marine Geophysics data acquisition and of geophysical
survey logs
* Conduct all type of marine geophysical surveys
* Participate in the calibration of geophysical survey equipment in
coordination with survey technician
* Work according to defined policies and procedures for effective, efficient
and professional functioning of the geophysics survey team
* Prepare and review technical survey reports, drawings, and deliverables in
line with client and project requirements
* Coordinate with vessel crew and project teams to ensure safe and efficient
survey operations
* Identify data quality issues during acquisition and recommend corrective
measures
* Support risk assessments, method statements, and toolbox talks related to
marine geophysical survey activities
* Comply according to the QA/ HSE requirements and procedures onsite
