Job Summary

A Spa Therapist at SEVEN is a dedicated professional who provides a range of therapeutic treatments and wellness services to promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being. This role involves delivering exceptional, personalised experiences that align with SEVEN’s commitment to redefining wellness. Working within our luxurious wellness environment, the Spa Therapist plays a key role in ensuring each guest feels restored and cared for, embodying SEVEN’s philosophy of holistic health and elevated service.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

Wellness Treatments:
Perform a range of specialised spa treatments, including deep tissue massage, signature massage, dry cupping therapy, Madero therapy, and lymphatic drainage.
Tailor treatments to each guest’s needs while adhering to industry best practices, such as identifying contraindications and ensuring safe and effective delivery of therapies.
Customise treatments to meet individual client needs and preferences.

Guest Interaction:
Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
Conduct pre-treatment consultations to understand health concerns or contraindications.
Provide aftercare advice, including product recommendations and wellness tips.

Operational Excellence:
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring a clean, relaxing, and hygienic environment.
Manage appointment schedules effectively, ensuring punctuality.
Handle spa products, tools, and equipment with care, adhering to safety standards.

Retail and Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about spa product lines and services to confidently recommend items to guests.
Support retail sales by educating clients about products that complement their treatments.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other spa professionals, CRO, spa supervisor / managers, and therapists, to ensure seamless operations.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and workshops.

Requirements
Diploma or certification in massage therapy, aesthetics, or a related field.
Training in specific therapies (e.g., aromatherapy, reflexology) is a plus.
Relevant work experience in a spa, wellness centre, or hospitality setting.
Knowledge of spa software systems and scheduling tools is beneficial.
Work hours will vary and may include weekends, evenings, and public holidays, based on operational requirements.
Physically demanding role involving standing, bending, and performing treatments for extended periods.
