Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Account Representative (AR), a Fluid Codes employee dedicated to supporting the Enterprise Accounts of Fluid Codes/Ansys. The AR serves as the primary operational contact for these accounts in the region, executing local account strategy in strict alignment with the Ansys Enterprise Account Manager (EAM).
The AR is responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships, driving software adoption, and coordinating local resources to ensure the customer achieves their technical and business goals. A successful AR maximizes account penetration and customer satisfaction by ensuring the local engineering teams realize the full value of the Ansys portfolio.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment & Execution:
Execute Local Strategy: Implement sales and engagement activities that align with the global strategy defined by the Ansys Enterprise Account Manager (EAM), ensuring a unified experience for the customer.
Relationship Management: Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with key local stakeholders (Engineers, Managers, Procurement) to protect renewal business and identify new growth areas.
Account Planning: Assist in creating and maintaining account plans for assigned local divisions, highlighting organizational profiles and potential opportunities.
Business Development (Adoption & Expansion):
Drive Usage: Monitor software usage and engagement to ensure the customer is maximizing their investment, reducing the risk of “shelf-ware” and securing renewals.
Identify Opportunities: Uncover customer pain points, negative consequences, and desired business outcomes to identify where additional Ansys solutions or Fluid Codes services can be applied.
Services Alignment: Identify requirements for training, consultancy, or technical support and coordinate the delivery of these solutions to enhance customer success.
Coordination & Administration:
Ecosystem Coordination: Coordinate sales and technical efforts with Fluid Codes internal teams (technical, marketing) and external partners (Ansys EAMs).
Proposal Generation: Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for local services and expansion opportunities.
Forecasting: Provide accurate forecasts for local service revenues and license growth activities.
Minimum Education & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business, or related field.
Experience: 2+ years of professional experience (Sales, Engineering, or Account Management).
Language: Fluent in English (mandatory); Arabic is a distinct advantage.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of engineering analysis and technology (FEA/CFD) is highly preferred.
Communication: Strong presentation, persuasion, and organizational skills.
Networking: Ability to network effectively using direct (face-to-face) and indirect (digital) methods to navigate complex organizations.
