Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Neurologist (UK CCT Holder / American Board Certified / Western Qualified) to join our University Healthcare Facility. The successful candidate will provide specialized neurological care, diagnose and manage complex disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles, while contributing to clinical excellence, medical education, and research activities within a multidisciplinary academic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage a comprehensive range of neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, multiple sclerosis, headaches, and neurodegenerative conditions.
• Conduct detailed neurological assessments, interpret diagnostic investigations, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide outpatient consultations, inpatient care, and follow-up management for patients with complex neurological conditions.
• Manage neurological emergencies including acute stroke, seizures, and other critical neurological conditions.
• Perform and interpret neurological diagnostic procedures where applicable, including EEG, EMG/NCS, and neuroimaging assessments.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, psychiatrists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in neurological case discussions, clinical meetings, and development of patient care pathways.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Provide supervision, training, and mentorship to residents, fellows, and junior medical staff.
• Participate in research projects, academic teaching, clinical audits, andMedical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited medical institution.
• Completion of recognized residency training in Neurology.
• UK CCT in Neurology, American Board Certification in Neurology, Australian Board Certification, South African Board Certification, or equivalent Western qualification.
• Minimum 5–10 years of post-qualification experience as a Consultant Neurologist in a tertiary hospital, university healthcare facility, or academic medical center.
• Strong experience managing complex neurological disorders and multidisciplinary patient care.
• Experience in clinical research, medical education, or academic healthcare settings is preferred.
• Eligible for medical licensing with relevant GCC healthcare authorities.
• Excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and commitment to patient-centered care. quality improvement initiatives.

• Minimum 5–10 years of post-qualification experience as a Consultant Neurologist in a tertiary hospital, university healthcare facility, or academic medical center.
• Strong experience managing complex neurological disorders and multidisciplinary patient care.
• Experience in clinical research, medical education, or academic healthcare settings is preferred.

Responsibilities
