Job Description
We’re looking for a vigilant and professional Security Officer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and valuable assets. As a Security Officer, you’ll combine your analytical mindset with decisive action to prevent security incidents and respond effectively to any disturbances. We’re seeking someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of remaining calm under pressure while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
Patrol designated areas systematically to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring the security of doors, windows, gates, and other access points
Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other personnel to guard against theft and maintain premises security
Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances with professionalism and sound judgment
Write detailed and accurate incident reports and maintain comprehensive daily activity logs
Operate and monitor surveillance cameras and other security equipment with proficiency and attention to detail
Perform access control procedures and conduct security screening of personnel and vehicles as required
Escort or drive motor vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations and provide personal protection when necessary
Collaborate effectively with local law enforcement agencies and security personnel when circumstances require
Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and environmental standards
Demonstrate exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from employees and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Stay current with security protocols, industry best practices, and Qatar-specific security regulations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Valid security guard license recognized in Qatar
Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in security operations
First Aid and CPR certification (current and valid)
Excellent physical fitness and stamina to perform duties effectively
Proficiency in surveillance and monitoring techniques
Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures and protocols
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
Competent in report writing and basic computer skills
Comprehensive knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security operations in Qatar
Familiarity with security protocols and industry best practices
Ability to remain calm, composed, and make sound decisions under pressure
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is preferred
Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment
Valid work permit or visa eligibility for employment in Qatar
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Resilience and adaptability in dynamic security environments

Responsibilities
