Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, and cake displays to meet luxury standards.
Create visually appealing cake displays and decorative elements for banquets, events, and daily buffet presentations.
Collaborate with the Pastry Chef and culinary team to develop innovative dessert menus and seasonal specialties.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the pastry kitchen.
Manage inventory of ingredients specific to pastry and cake production and order supplies as necessary.
Train and mentor junior pastry staff, promoting skill development and maintaining team efficiency.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area in accordance with hotel policies.
Minimum of 3 years as a Chef de Partie in pastry arts, with significant experience in cake display and decoration.
Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification in pastry arts preferred.
Strong artistic skills and attention to detail for cake decoration and presentation.
Proven ability to produce high-quality pastry products in a luxury hospitality environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Must be currently in UAE
