JOB DESCRIPTION
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the financial services activity relevant to the licensee and the wider industry and its regulatory environment.
Lead financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Oversee financial operations and implement strategies that support sustainable business growth and financial performance.
Apply international accounting standards, including IFRS and, where applicable, AAOIFI, in the preparation and interpretation of financial information.
Apply appropriate valuation principles and practices across different classes of asset.
Assess and manage impairment provisions, ensuring appropriate measurement methodologies and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
5–7 years of relevant experience preferably in insurance industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field including; professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ACA/FCA, CFA, CIPA (AAOIFI), or equivalent.
Strong leadership, analytical, and financial management skills.
