Requirements
Requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, fluency in Arabic, and 3-5 years of clinical experience in healthcare or mental health. Candidates must be based in the UAE and eligible for the DOH Abu Dhabi Clinical Social Worker license.
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Social Worker to support patients and families with psychosocial, emotional, and environmental challenges, helping to improve overall quality of life within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans
Provide case management for vulnerable patients and coordinate with government and charity agencies
Support safeguarding of children, women, elderly, and vulnerable adults; report abuse or neglect as required
Ensure compliance with UAE mental health laws, including Federal Law No. (10) of 2023
Assist with caseload management and supervise junior staff when required
Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and provide emotional support to patients and families
Participate in wellbeing initiatives, professional development, and research activities
Be available to provide services during and outside official working hours when required
Requirements
To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:
Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field (mandatory)
Arabic speaker – mandatory
Currently based in the UAE
Minimum 3–5 years’ clinical experience, preferably in healthcare or mental health
Eligible for DOH (Abu Dhabi) Clinical Social Worker license as per PQR requirements
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, ethics, and professional boundaries.
WORK LOCATION – ABU DHABI.
