Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a western trained, native Arabic speaking Consultant Abdominal Transplant Surgeon for their client in Abu Dhabi, UAE which is a leading tertiary care hospital. We are looking for Tier 1 Board Certified, Fellowship trained surgeons with Western qualifications such as ABMS (USA), CCT/CCST (UK), RCPSC (Canada), or equivalent credentials recognized by the DOH, with subspecialty Fellowship training in Renal Transplantation and advanced Urological Surgery.The Consultant will be responsible for performing kidney transplant procedures including living donor and deceased donor transplantation, along with advanced urological and reconstructive surgeries. Undertake comprehensive pre-transplant evaluations including donor and recipient assessments, suitability determination, and multidisciplinary treatment planning for patients with end-stage renal disease.Manage perioperative and postoperative care of transplant patients, including immunosuppressive therapy oversight, complication management, and long-term graft monitoring to ensure optimal clinical outcomes. Work closely with nephrologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, radiologists, transplant coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care across the transplant continuum.Contribute to the development and implementation of transplant protocols, surgical pathways, and quality improvement frameworks aligned with international standards. Participate in transplant selection committees, clinical governance meetings, morbidity and mortality reviews, and regulatory compliance processes.Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, fellows, and clinical teams, while actively engaging in academic teaching, research initiatives, and continuous professional development programs. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with Department of Health regulations and hospital policies, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of patient safety and ethical practice.Play a key role in strengthening and expanding the kidney transplant program and supporting the hospital’s position as a center of excellence in renal transplantation and advanced urology services.
Salary : Aed 120,000 per month plus incentives and family benefits (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative. The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
