SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Consultant in Stroke Medicine holding a UK CCT to join a prestigious Government Healthcare Facility. This role involves delivering expert clinical care to patients with stroke and cerebrovascular diseases, working within a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient outcomes. The successful candidate will play a critical part in advancing stroke services through clinical leadership, research, and education.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with acute and chronic stroke.
Lead and coordinate stroke care pathways and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Contribute to clinical audits, research projects, and quality improvement initiatives.
Engage in teaching and training of junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare staff.
Collaborate with other medical specialties, rehabilitation teams, and community services.
Stay updated with the latest evidence-based guidelines and best practices in stroke medicine.
UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Stroke Medicine or Neurology with Stroke subspecialty.
Eligible for GMC registration and license to practice in the UK.
Proven experience as a Consultant in Stroke Medicine within the UK healthcare system.
Strong clinical skills with a comprehensive understanding of stroke management protocols.
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to research, teaching, and continuing professional development.
