Electrical Engineer
Job Location : Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Supervise and manage electrical site activities for high‑voltage projects.
• Oversee 11kV and 22kV underground cable installation works.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of substation components.
• Ensure proper execution of HV Transformers, HV Panels, and LV Panels.
• Manage solar PV integration works on site.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants.
Requirements :
• Minimum 5 years of experience in high‑voltage electrical projects.
• Strong experience in 11kV and 22kV underground cable installation.
• Experience in substation works including HV/LV systems.
• Previous experience with TAQA / ADDC projects preferred.
• TAQA Competency Card preferred.
• Equivalency Certificate or ADQCC Certificate is mandatory.
• TAQA‑E1 Certification is an added advantage.
• Strong technical and site management skills.
• Strong knowledge of high‑voltage electrical systems, underground cable laying and commissioning, substation equipment, solar PV integration systems, and electrical safety/compliance standards.
