Job Summary

WSP is seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our supervision team
in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for
monitoring, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control
processes across utilities and infrastructure projects. The role will ensure
that all construction activities, materials, workmanship, and documentation
comply with project specifications, contract requirements, applicable standards,
and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Monitor and implement project Quality Assurance and Quality Control
procedures.
* Review contractor quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), method
statements, and related quality documentation.
* Conduct site inspections and witness testing activities for utilities and
infrastructure works.
* Verify compliance of construction activities with project specifications,
drawings, standards, and approved procedures.
* Review material submittals, manufacturers’ certificates, laboratory test
results, and quality records.
* Raise, track, and close non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions,
and preventive actions.
* Coordinate with project teams, contractors, laboratories, and stakeholders on
quality-related matters.
* Monitor and report quality performance indicators and project quality
metrics.
* Participate in audits, quality reviews, and management inspections.
* Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of quality records throughout the
project lifecycle.
* Support project teams in identifying quality risks and implementing
mitigation measures.
* Prepare quality reports and provide recommendations for continuous
improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
* Minimum 8-12 years of professional experience in QA/QC for infrastructure and
utility projects.
* Strong experience in site supervision and construction quality management.
* Experience on roads, utilities, drainage, water networks, sewer networks, and
associated infrastructure projects.
* Experience working with engineering consultants or supervision consultants is
preferred.
* Thorough understanding of international standards, construction
specifications, and quality management systems.
* ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification is advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of inspections, testing procedures, material approvals, and
quality documentation.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management/document control
systems.
* Previous experience in Saudi Arabia and familiarity with local authority
requirements is preferred.
