Responsibilities
Provide expert surgical assessment and intervention for acute surgical emergencies.
Manage urgent and complex surgical cases with timely and effective treatment plans.
Collaborate with emergency medicine, anesthesiology, and intensive care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to their training in acute surgical care.
Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation for all patient encounters and procedures.
Stay current with advancements in acute surgical care through continuous professional development.
Medical degree with specialization in General Surgery.
Board certification and proven expertise in acute surgical care or emergency surgery.
Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
Extensive experience managing acute surgical emergencies in a hospital setting.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities under pressure.
