What you’ll do
Provide a full range of Information Technology (IT) engineering and installation (EI) services throughout the U.S. CENTCOM area of responsibility, primarily Kuwait.
Plan and coordinate site installation or site removal of Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) communication systems.
Document, maintain, and upgrade OSP/ISP solutions and requirements for Government projects.
Prepare cost estimates and include the cost estimates in the Project Overview Sheet (POS).
Provide QA and QC for ISP/OSP projects that are planned and/or executed under this Contract.
Assist the Government in the development and documentation of requirements and Statements of Work (SOW) for new systems/networks and facilities.
Attend planning sessions for OSP/ISP specific work.
Prepare and review design and implementation plan to upgrade existing cable plant infrastructure.
Comprehensive IT Engineering and Installation Services: Offer a full spectrum of IT engineering and installation services across the U.S. CENTCOM area, focusing on Kuwait. This includes planning, coordination, and execution of both Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) communication systems installation or removal.
Project Planning and Implementation Oversight: Engage in thorough planning sessions for OSP/ISP work, including site surveys, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering. Prepare detailed design and implementation plans for new installations and upgrades to existing infrastructure, encompassing electrical power generation, distribution, and power conditioning.
Ensure alignment with Government requirements and standards for facility-internal spaces, communications rooms, and cable pathway systems.
Documentation and Quality Management: Document all project phases, from initial surveys to final implementation, including requirements, designs, and upgrades for OSP/ISP solutions. Utilize professional software tools (e.g., MS Word, Project, Excel, Visio, Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, Fluke LinkWare) for high-quality documentation. Maintain responsibility for quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to applicable codes and standards.
Cost Estimation and Contractual Documentation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for all projects, incorporating them into the Project Overview Sheet (POS). Assist in the development, documentation, and submission of Statements of Work (SOW) and other contract-related documents, leveraging advanced design techniques and comprehensive technical knowledge.
Collaborate with technical teams across Systems, Networking, Transmissions, and Cybersecurity to ensure synchronized project documentation.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement stringent QA and QC protocols for all stages of ISP/OSP projects, from planning through to execution. Oversee the testing and evaluation of installed systems, ensuring compliance with established standards and best practices. Manage subcontractor activities to maintain high quality and adherence to electrical and communication standards.
