Responsibilities
Surface Preparation: Carry out cleaning, blasting, and priming of surfaces prior to coating application.
Coating Application: Apply protective coatings using brush, roller, or spray methods in line with project specifications.
Quality Control: Ensure coating thickness, curing, and finish meet ASTM and project standards.
Maintenance: Perform touch-ups and maintenance painting to prevent corrosion and extend equipment life.
Safety Compliance: Follow offshore HSE standards, PPE requirements, and permit-to-work systems during painting operations.
Documentation: Record paint usage, inspection results, and maintain coating logs.
Requirements
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of offshore painting/coating experience.
Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating systems, and offshore corrosion control.
Ability to read and follow coating specifications and QA/QC procedures.
Familiarity with ASTM and NOC coating standards.

ASTM D4228 – Painter Qualification Standard
BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)
Basic H2S Training
EPCIC Project HSES Induction
