Summary:
The Accountant role is a critical position within our dynamic finance team, responsible for managing the financial operations of multiple construction and MEP projects in Qatar. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance across all projects, supporting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented finance professional with extensive experience in construction accounting, adept at leveraging ERP systems to streamline processes and enhance financial accuracy. Responsibilities:
Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
Monitor project expenses, budgets, and cost allocations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Maintain and update financial records using ERP systems and accounting software.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure proper tracking of project costs and expenditures.
Process invoices, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
Support audit requirements and maintain proper financial documentation.
Prepare reports for management to support financial decision-making.
Help improve accounting procedures and internal financial controls.

Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or MEP contracting industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting practices, financial reporting, and project costing.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
Good understanding of budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
GCC experience will be considered an added advantage.
