Candidates need a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety with over 3 years of construction industry experience. Certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH and fluency in both Arabic and English are highly desired.

Job Summary

Meraki Group is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Worden – Fadace to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and health of all our employees on-site. The Safety Worden will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Provide training and guidance to employees on best safety practices and emergency response procedures.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports on safety performance and incidents.
Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper usage on site.
Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and implement necessary safety improvements.
Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging employees and encouraging safety participation.
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to conduct training sessions and safety briefings effectively.
Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Fluent in Arabic and English (both spoken and written).
