Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect (Site Supervision) to join our organization in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will oversee architectural design implementation and site supervision for complex construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, building codes, and quality standards. You will serve as a key liaison between design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders, providing technical expertise and decisive leadership throughout the construction phase.
Supervise and monitor all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance reviews to verify workmanship, material standards, and adherence to building codes and regulations
Prepare and maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily reports, inspection logs, change orders, and construction records
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues, clarify design intent, and implement corrective actions
Analyze construction challenges and provide innovative solutions while maintaining project timelines and budgets
Lead and mentor on-site teams, communicating architectural requirements clearly and ensuring professional standards are maintained
Review and approve shop drawings, material samples, and construction methodologies for compliance with design specifications
Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance protocols are implemented and maintained throughout the construction process
Manage project communications and documentation, preparing progress reports and presenting findings to project management and stakeholders
Collaborate with design teams to address field conditions and implement design modifications as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 15 years demonstrable experience in the all aspects of supervision and project administration of the Architectural works related to large-scale projects within Middle East in the consulting industry.
Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent. Membership of a recognized institution (i.e. PE/Peng, CEng Etc.) would be preferred. LEED GA or AP certifications would be a plus
