Requires a background in trade school and the ability to lead shift handovers and respond to mechanical issues. Must be capable of adhering to strict safety protocols and meeting customer specifications for coated coils.
Job Summary
1. Ensure safe and smooth operation of all enrty-end equipment including
uncoiler, stitching and tension
2. Follow established operating procedures to ensure production targets are
met.
3. Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure machinery is in good working
condition.
4. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during coil handling, cutting, and
changeovers.
5. Inspect coated coils for surface defects, gloss level, color shade, and edge
quality.
6. Ensure compliance with customer specifications
7. Maintain accurate records of production runs, including output quantities and machine performance
data.
8. Communicate effectively with coating, entry, and maintenance teams for
smooth line operation.
9. Lead shift handover meetings with proper documentation.
10-Quickly respond to line stoppages or mechanical/electrical issues at
exit/entry section.
