Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients in CCU
* Continuously monitor ECG, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs
* Administer cardiac medications, infusions, and emergency drugs safely
* Manage patients with:
* Acute Coronary Syndrome / Myocardial infarction
* Heart failure
* Life-threatening arrhythmias
* Post-cardiac interventions and procedures
* Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies, including Code Blue situations
* Assist in advanced resuscitation and emergency procedures (CPR,
defibrillation)
* Operate and manage critical care equipment (monitors, defibrillators,
infusion pumps, ventilators)
* Collaborate closely with cardiologists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary
teams
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
* Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatment, and recovery
* Maintain compliance with SKMC standards, infection control, and patient
safety protocols
Requirements Education
* Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
License
* Valid UAE Nursing License (DOH preferred) or eligibility to practice in Abu
Dhabi
Experience
* Minimum 2–3 years of recent experience in CCU or Cardiac Care Unit
* Strong exposure to critically ill cardiac patients
Provide direct nursing care and continuous cardiac monitoring for critically ill patients in the CCU. Respond to cardiac emergencies and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.
