Job Summary
The Technical Lead – 3A will spearhead the design, implementation, and
optimisation of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and SRE practices for IGT
Services and Technologies’ airline and travel technology platforms. Working
within the EGIT‑Onsite department, you will enable autonomous delivery teams,
coach engineers on DevOps and cloud adoption, and ensure high‑availability,
scalable services across multi‑cloud environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Build, maintain and optimise fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code
deployment, testing, quality gates and telemetry.
* Guide teams on containerisation and orchestration using Kubernetes/OpenShift,
including Docker image creation and micro‑service migration.
* Design, implement and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and
shared services landing zones.
* Develop observability solutions (monitoring, alerting, log aggregation) using
tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk and Dynatrace.
* Apply SRE principles to ensure service availability, performance, latency,
capacity planning and incident response.
* Lead reliability and scalability initiatives for a portfolio of products
within Agile Release Trains.
* Collaborate with architects and technical engineers to review designs,
identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
* Coach software engineers on DevOps best practices, automation frameworks and
cloud adoption strategies.
* Drive multi‑cloud enablement, migration projects and infrastructure‑as‑code
implementations (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related
field.
* 8+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on DevOps, SRE and cloud
platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* 3+ years of hands‑on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for
micro‑service architectures.
* Proficiency with monitoring and analytics tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk,
Dynatrace, ELK).
* Expertise in CI/CD and build automation tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle,
Docker, Nexus/Artifactory).
* Strong knowledge of IaC and automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation,
Azure ARM).
* Extensive experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes,
OpenShift, Helm).
* Advanced scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go) and familiarity with JSON/YAML
configuration.
* Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and lead reliability
initiatives.
