Job Summary

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Fortinet Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, administering, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting Fortinet security solutions across the enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies and a solid understanding of identity and access management, endpoint security, email security, web application protection, threat detection, and incident response. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security, availability, and performance of the organization’s cybersecurity infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SECURITY PLATFORM ADMINISTRATION

* Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain Fortinet security solutions across enterprise environments.

* Manage and optimize:

* FortiAuthenticator

* FortiEDR

* FortiClient EMS & VPN

* FortiWeb (WAF)

* FortiMail

* FortiSandbox

* Monitor the health, availability, and performance of security infrastructure.

* Perform software upgrades, patch management, backups, and configuration reviews.

* Ensure security systems remain highly available and optimized.

IDENTITY & ACCESS MANAGEMENT (IAM)

* Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using FortiAuthenticator.

* Integrate authentication services with:

* Active Directory

* LDAP

* RADIUS

* Other identity management platforms

* Manage authentication workflows and user access policies.

ENDPOINT & REMOTE ACCESS SECURITY

* Administer FortiEDR for endpoint protection and threat detection.

* Manage FortiClient EMS and VPN services to provide secure remote access.

* Investigate endpoint security incidents and implement remediation measures.

* Maintain endpoint security policies and compliance.

WEB & EMAIL SECURITY

* Configure and maintain FortiWeb Web Application Firewall (WAF).

* Manage FortiMail email security, including:

* Anti-spam

* Anti-malware

* Email protection policies

* Analyze security logs and implement corrective actions to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.

THREAT DETECTION & INCIDENT RESPONSE

* Monitor security alerts and investigate security incidents.

* Utilize FortiSandbox for malware analysis and advanced threat detection.

* Coordinate incident response activities with Security Operations Center (SOC) teams.

* Support vulnerability management and security hardening initiatives.

* Assist in containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis.

SECURITY INTEGRATION & OPERATIONS

* Integrate Fortinet solutions with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.

* Support the implementation and maintenance of Fortinet Security Fabric architecture.

* Participate in:

* Security assessments

* Compliance audits

* Risk assessments

* Maintain security documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and operational procedures.

* Experience implementing and managing enterprise security platforms.

* Experience with:

* Endpoint security

* Email security

* Web application security

* Experience integrating Fortinet solutions with:

* Active Directory

* LDAP

* SIEM platforms

* Third-party security solutions

* Experience supporting production environments and responding to security incidents.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS

* Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP)

* Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS)

* Fortinet NSE Certifications (NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 6 or equivalent)

* CompTIA Security+

* Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

* CISSP (preferred for more senior candidates)
